This report to the Scottish Parliament on the Cost of Living (Tenant Protection) (Scotland) Act 2022 covers the period 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2023. It provides a review of the status and operation of the remaining provisions in part 1. As well as providing a useful summary of the legislation and changes made since its introduction, the report also provides a helpful summary of the Scottish Government’s take on the state of the economy and the pressure on the rented sector. The emergency legislation will fall on 31 March 2024.
