Leza introduces students to Housing Options Toolkit
Being an ex-student, our colleague Leza Lafferty, Learning & Development Officer was delighted to be invited back to Stirling University to talk to students studying their post grade Diploma in Housing studies.
Leza’s presentation explained what the Housing Options Toolkit was, how it came about and was funded and how to use it. She said.
‘The group seem to be very interested in the toolkit and I received a lot of great questions – especially around when it is likely to be rolled out to other agencies’.
Leza was joined by Illene Campbell, CEO from TIS Scotland who talked about Tenant Participation and the difficulties that landlords have sometimes getting younger folk to engage. The final speaker Dr Fernando Fajardo Bullon from the University of Extremadura in Spain who spoke about Homelessness in Spain.
It was a great day and a pleasure to meet the students and Lecturers.
