Upcoming UC Landlord Portal changes

Changes to the UC Landlord Portal will be made shortly. If you currently use automation, you will have been advised in advance of the change.

The change is to prevent excessive high housing costs being reported in error, therefore where housing costs are reported above the maximum Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rate in the UK, you will see a warning message.

‘The rent seems high. Is it the correct amount?’

This is followed by a checkbox which must be checked to confirm this is the correct amount.
