Cladding Remediation Programme in Scotland

Scottish Government recently announced their Plan of Action on Cladding Remediation   https://www.gov.scot/publications/cladding-remediation-plan-of-action/

The government has launched a Single Open Call (SOC) which is a new mechanism enabling homeowners and social landlords to take a more proactive role in the assessment and potential remediation of their buildings. Specifically this relates to cladding and risk caused either directly, or indirectly, by unsafe cladding.

The SOC welcomes homeowners (and their representatives) and social landlords to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for funding, which will the be sifted to verify data and eligibility.

If eligibility is confirmed, grant funding will be awarded to pay for a single building assessment which will assess risk to life through a Fire Risk Appraisal of the External Wall (FRAEW) and Fire Risk Assessment (FRA).
