Building regulation consultation on “Passivhaus” standards for new build

The Scottish Government has launched the consultation on changes to the building standards to require “Passivhaus” equivalent standards in all new build homes. You can read the full details of the proposals and how to respond to the consultation here.

This is a “stage 1” consultation and will focus on the principles behind a Scottish equivalent to Passivhaus standards for all new homes. The Passivhaus Trust has published its own frequently asked questions guide to the proposals including some useful links to other resources.
