Charter Data Insights 2025-26 – Top Level Performance Highlights

We released the 2025/26 Charter performance dataset on 3 June 2026, within 72 hours of the deadline for landlords to submit their Annual Returns on the Charter (ARC) to the Scottish Housing Regulator. This rapid turnaround enables early access to sector-wide performance insights, supporting timely analysis and decision-making.

This year saw record participation, including contributions from a growing number of non-member organisations. As a result, our dataset now covers approximately 90% of the sector, offering the most comprehensive and up-to-date view of Charter performance currently available.

The Charter Data Insights 2025/26 report  summarises key highlights and makes them accessible to both members and non-members.

In addition to the public report, SHN members benefit from enhanced access to detailed performance data through its bespoke Business Intelligence tools. These tools incorporate both Charter indicators and additional metrics, enabling more granular analysis and providing early insight into how individual organisations are performing relative to their peers.
