                        In 2020, the City of Edinburgh Council approved a pilot project to improve building condition of existing blocks in three areas. The pilot brought a new approach to engaging with private owners to obtain their agreement for the Council to take the lead role by using the decision making process within the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004.
